NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Llano Estacado Underground Water Conservation District is currently receiving public comments on the proposed Desired Future Conditions (DFCs) for the area aquifers recently adopted by Groundwater Management Area 2 under §36.108, Texas Water Code.
Groundwater Management Area 2 includes the groundwater conservation district as follows: Garza County UWCD, High Plains UWCD, Llano Estacado UWCD, Mesa UWCD, Permian Basin UWCD, Sandy Land UWCD and South Plains UWCD. The DFCs and supporting materials for the area aquifers are available at the Groundwater Management Area 2 (GMA#2) website gma2.hpwd.org/ and Llano Estacado Underground Water Conservation District's office at 200 S E Ave C, Seminole, TX 79360 or on the District's website at www.llanoestacadouwcd.org.
The District will hold a public hearing on the Desired Future Conditions on June 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at the District office, 200 S E Ave C., Seminole, TX 79360. Public comments will be accepted by the District until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the District office, by mail or email, or at the public hearing.
